The Council consists of approximately 20 members representing diverse categories of stake holders in South Florida. Stake holder groups include but are not limited to: adult education teachers, adult education administrators, students, school districts, Indian tribes, community based organizations (literacy groups), libraries, workforce development boards, migrant communities, business, community colleges, corrections, universities, adult basic education programs, GED programs, adult secondary programs, family literacy programs, and ESOL programs. The combined Councils also address the work for career and technical areas including workforce readiness, workforce education, and high performing teams.
