May 03, 2003 Meeting a Success
Florida Technology Education Association Region V meeting was held on May 3, 2003, at the William H. Turner Technical Arts High School. Forty-five participants participated in a training to implement the standards for technological literacy. All participants in the all day event received hands-on instruction related to the standards as well as copies of the Standards for Technological Literacy and a textbook correlated to the standards.
The training was offered as part of the collaboration for professional development with the Region V Professional Development Councils. Some funding was provided to offset the cost of the event through the Councils as part of the Councils ongoing support in Region V.
